Delete your Link Up account

No app needed. Enter the email address on your account and we’ll send you a link to confirm.

Signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”? Use the private relay address (it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com). Apple forwards our email to you.

Deletion starts as soon as you confirm, and is finished within 24 hours. It can’t be undone. You can also delete your account in the app: Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, username, photo, city and bio
  • Your preferences, availability, consents and settings
  • Your birthday and the age details we keep for safety
  • Photos you uploaded and any data export you requested
  • Your sign-in, including a Sign in with Apple connection

What we keep, and for how long

  • A record that your account was deleted, for 30 days
  • Your username stays unavailable for 90 days so nobody can pretend to be you, with nothing linking it to you
  • Reports you made about others, where the law or safety requires it (see the privacy policy)
